Market Snapshot 5/8/24- No Economic News

Good morning on this best day of the week Wednesday, from your Hometown Lender,

No economic news to share today.

The only two data sets to look forward to are tomorrow’s unemployment report and Friday’s consumer sentiment. Again, slow week for economic data. We do have some important news next week with CPI and PPI on Tuesday and Wednesday but that is next week. For now, bonds are leaking a bit which is not unexpected as we hit resistance yesterday and bounced off, instead of pushing through.

For now, this seems like normal trading activity and nothing substantial.

With not much else to share, I thought I would share a snippet on how single women homeowners outnumber men by a lot and a graphic on the which cities have had the biggest appreciation..

Single women in the United States are outpacing single men in homeownership.

A 2023 Pew Research Center survey using 2022 census data found that single women owned 58 percent of the nearly 35.2 million homes owned by unmarried Americans, while single men owned 42 percent.

Stay safe, make today great!!!
